Other than .sav files

Updated the computer and now just reinstalled HL2, but was curious, other
than the .sav files, what else should a copy over? See, I backed up the
entire Steam folder before wiping HDD. Only other thing I can think of is
some kind of config file, but not sure where to find that. So any help here
would be appreciated.

In your backup Steam\SteamApps\<user-name>\half-life 2\hl2\cfg folder,
copy all those files into the respectave location in your installed
Steam folder. Those files are the config files you're talking about.
Note that all Source-engine games store their VIDEO settings in the
registry, so even when copying these files you'll still need to reset
your video settings.
